MEET OUR REGULAR INSTRUCTORS

TEKOA

Tekoa is our Group Fitness Director and has taught Group X classes since 2002.

She currently teaches Square Up Boxing and TRX (and substitute teaches CoreFit and Turbo Kick).

Her personal motto is: You were born with the ability to change someone's life. Don't ever waste it.

When she's not teaching fitness classes, she likes to coach, run, read, spend time with family, and go on adventures of any kind.

KARRI

Karri has taught Group X classes since 2012.

She currently teaches BodyPump, RPM, and CXWORX. 

Her personal motto is: The only things that really matter in life are health and happiness.

When she's not teaching fitness classes, she likes to ride her bike outside, read, and scrapbook.

CINDY

Cindy has taught Group X classes since 2002.

She currently teaches Turbo Kick, Turbo 30/Interval Training30, and TRX.

Her personal motto is: Make it a great day or not, the choice is yours.

When she's not teaching fitness classes, she likes to read, run, spend time with friends, and take family vacations.

MELISSA

Melissa has taught Group X classes since 2009.

She currently teaches BodyPump, RPM, and CXWORX. 

Her personal motto is: Be you. Do you. For you. When you step into our facility, give up the concern for looking good. Show up for yourself. Try a variety of classes with different instructors and figure out what you like. We are here to help you make our classes work for you.

When she's not teaching fitness classes, she likes to ride her bike, do yoga, cook, and read.

ANNE

Anne has taught Group X classes since 1985.

She currently teaches BodyPump, RPM, and CXWORX. 

Her personal motto is: Life begins outside your comfort zone, but as you move toward the space outside your comfort zone, seek joy, wisdom, and personal growth. 

When she's not teaching fitness classes, she likes to read, garden, camp, run (when she can), walk (when she can't run), enjoy the company of good friends, and make new ones. 

RENEE

Renee has taught Group X classes since 1986.

She currently teaches Get RIPped, Turbo Kick, and BodyPump.

Her personal motto is: Just do it.

When she's not teaching fitness classes, she likes to spend time with her family, go RVing, go boating, and ride Trials motorcycles (she has a Gas Gas).

MEL​

Mel has taught Group X classes since 1993.

She currently teaches BodyPump and RPM.

Her personal motto is: Be the one to light a fire.

When she's not teaching fitness classes, she likes to bike with her husband, practice photography, do scrapbooking, and read.

CASSIE

Cassie has taught Group X classes since 2008.

She currently teaches Thrive Barre and Thrive Tabata Burn.

Her personal motto is: Focus on the good and let go of the bad.

When she's not teaching fitness classes, she likes to get creative in the kitchen and spend time with her daughters and husband. 

NICK

Nick has taught Group X classes since 2014.

He is currently certified to teach Pound Rockout Workout, Core de Force, CXWORX, and BodyPump.

His personal motto is: Bring it!

When he's not teaching fitness classes, he likes to raise foster kittens and cats.

Yancy has taught Group X classes since 2006.

He currently teaches BodyPump.

His personal motto is: Make a great day! Be your best!

When he's not teaching fitness classes, he likes to golf, enjoy life at the lake, and have family activities.

DONNIE

Donnie has taught Group X classes since 2013.

He currently teaches Core Fit.

His personal motto is: Dump the tank.

When he's not teaching fitness classes, he likes to go on adventure races, float trips, spend time with family, volunteer or fundraise, camp, or play any type of sport.

KIM

Kim has taught Group X classes since 2008.

She currently teaches BodyPump.

Her personal motto is: Treat others as you want to be treated.

When she's not teaching fitness classes, she likes to garden, read, and spend time with her children.

SARA

Sara has taught Group X classes since 2007.

She currently teaches Turbo Kick.

Her personal motto is: Be the best version of you!

When she's not teaching fitness classes, she likes to work out, read, and spend time with family and friends.

ROSY

Rosy has taught Group X classes since 2015.

She currently teaches Move to Improve Stretch and Strengthen, BodyPump, and PiYo.

Her personal motto is: Be kind to yourself and others.

When she's not teaching fitness classes, she likes to read, spend time with her family and friends, and travel.

MEAGAN

Meagan has taught Group X classes since 2014.

She currently teaches Core Fit.

Her personal motto is: Fitness has nothing to do with age, weight, or body type. Fitness has everything to do with personal goals, motivation, and progress.

When she's not teaching fitness classes, she likes to work out, spend time with her husband and daughter, do home improvement projects, and spend time with friends.

MARIA

Maria has taught Group X classes since 2013.

She currently teaches Thrive Barre.

Her personal motto is: Follow your bliss.

When she's not teaching fitness classes, she likes to spend time with her children.

THERESA

Theresa has taught Group X classes since 2015.

She currently teaches cycle, Core Fit, Thrive Barre, and assists with Thrive Tabata Burn.

Her personal motto is: As IRON sharpens IRON, so one person sharpens another. Proverbs 27:17

When she's not teaching fitness classes, she likes to play taxi to her three awesome kids, spend time with her incredible husband, sing, knit, watch nerdy movies, attend church, and lift weights.

CHERYL

Cheryl has taught Group X classes since 2014.

She currently teaches Zumba.

Her personal motto is: I can and I will.

When she's not teaching fitness classes, she likes to spend time with her two children.

JENI

Jeni has taught Group X classes since 2014.

She currently teaches TRX.

Her personal motto is: Be the most courageous, kindest, and encouraging person you can be.  

When she's not teaching fitness classes, she loves to be outdoors (hiking, kayaking, and paddle boarding are some of her favorites) and spend time with family and friends .  

JONI

Joni has taught Group X classes since 2016.

She currently teaches Move to Improve BLAST.

Her personal motto is: I try to be helpful and kind to others. I try to be grateful for the many blessings that I have.

When she's not teaching fitness classes, she likes to garden, work in the yard, and be with her grandchildren.

KRYSTAL

Krystal has taught Group X classes since 2014.

She currently teaches Pound Rockout Workout and Core de Force.

Her personal motto is: Yes, you can. You may not want to, but you can.

When she's not teaching fitness classes, she likes to raise foster kittens and cats.

SHERRY

Sherry has taught Group X classes since 2011.

She currently teaches BodyPump.

Her personal motto is: Healthy eating and physical fitness fuel your body, mind, and soul! 

When she's not teaching fitness classes, she likes to play in her flower beds, attend Purdue Basketball games, go to church, cook, and spend time with family and friends.

LISA

Lisa has taught Group X classes since 1980.

She currently teaches Rip Tide Power Hour.

Her personal motto is: Just do it.

When she's not teaching fitness classes, she likes to explore the outdoors and run, hopefully with family or friends.

LAUREN

Lauren has taught Group X classes since 2015.

She currently teaches TRX (and substitute teaches Core Fit).

Her personal motto is: Believe * Persevere * Strengthen * Grow

When she's not teaching fitness classes, she likes to spend time with her two children, go to parks, ride bikes, take walks/hike, go to Farmer’s Markets and libraries, attend West Lafayette MOMS Club events, listen to audiobooks, and enjoy life with her husband.

Casey has taught Group X classes since 2018.

She currently teaches Zumba.

When she's not teaching fitness classes, she is an actor and model.

BARBIE

Barbie has taught Group X classes since 2008.

She currently teaches BodyPump, CXWORX, and TRX.

Her personal motto is: I hope to provide a fun and challenging group fitness experience to help members achieve their goals.

When she's not teaching fitness classes, she likes to spend time outside with her family, cook, or read.

MICHELLE

AMY

Lisa has taught Group X classes since 2005.

She currently teaches cycle.

Her personal motto is: It's not about having time, it's about making time.

When she's not teaching fitness classes, she likes to train for half marathons, do outdoor biking, and hot yoga.

LISA

Lisa has taught Group X classes since 2018.

She currently teaches Rise 'n Shine yoga, TGIF yin/restorative yoga, and yoga.

Her personal motto is: Live with gratitude. Each day is a gift waiting to be opened. 

When she's not teaching fitness classes, she likes to spend time with family and friends, do anything outdoors (especially gardening and playing in dirt), listening to music of all kinds, ... all sorts of things bring her joy. 

JENNIFER

Jennifer  has taught Group X classes since 2018.

She currently teaches Core Fit.

Her personal motto is: Obstacles are what you see when you take your eyes off your goals.

When she's not teaching fitness classes, she likes to spend time with her daughters and she enjoys all sorts of sports, cooking, canning, and watching movies. 

KRISTY

Kristy has taught Group X classes since 2006.

She currently teaches RPM and SPRINT.

Her personal motto is:  The most valuable thing you own is time.  Choose to live and be present inside each second.

When she's not teaching fitness classes, she enjoys bike rides with her husband, family vacation time, hot yoga, and dark chocolate.

KELLY

Kelly has taught Group X classes since 2017.

She currently teaches BodyPump.

Her personal motto is:  You get what you work for! 

When she's not teaching fitness classes, she enjoys camping and hiking with her husband and two daughters.

ERIN

Erin has taught Group X classes since 2007.

She currently teaches RPM, Les Mills CORE, Tone, and BodyPump.

Her personal motto is: The grass is green where you water it.

When she's not teaching fitness classes, she enjoys reading books with a good cup of coffee, working in her gardens, and spending time with her husband and children.
